TERMS OF SERVICE FOR PRACTITIONERS

Welcome to GoSamadhi — a technology platform that supports spiritual connection and daily mindfulness. By accessing, downloading the app, signing in, or completing any merit-making transaction on the system, you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the Practitioner terms of service below.

Applies to: All users who register a Practitioner account or interact anonymously on the GoSamadhi system.

1. Account Registration & Identity

To personalize your practice journey and keep a meditation journal, GoSamadhi offers flexible identity options:

Social Login

You may create an account through third-party authentication including Google, Apple, and Facebook. You are responsible for securing your personal account information on those platforms.

Anonymous User Policy

You may use basic features on the GoSamadhi website without signing in. Features that require identity verification will ask you to sign in before use.

2. Practice Features & Online Content

GoSamadhi provides a digital sacred space to nurture body and mind:

Daily Practice Tools

You have free access to asynchronous mindfulness tools including: meditation timer, mantra bead counter (with bell sounds and auto-scrolling scripture text), vegetarian meal reminders, and personal practice frequency charts.

Livestreaming

You may attend live Dharma talks and ceremonies from temple clergy through GoSamadhi’s video infrastructure. Broadcast schedules are set by temples via the GoSamadhi platform.

Intellectual Property

All Dharma talk materials, scripture MP3 audio, and interface designs displayed on the system are exclusively owned by GoSamadhi or partner temples. Use is permitted only for personal practice; copying or rebroadcasting for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

3. Financial Transactions & Platform Fees

The GoSamadhi system integrates electronic payment so you can make merit offerings and support the Three Jewels remotely.

Valid transfer actions on the system

Online offerings

Voluntarily support a specific temple’s funds directly, during or outside livestreams.

Wish petitions

Register family information and submit online petitions for blessings or memorial rites to temple main halls.

Retreat registration

Contribute living expenses, uniforms, or ceremony offerings when registering for in-person retreats at temples listed on the system.

Fund flow principles

Legal compliance and transparency: All merit funds from you are transferred to GoSamadhi’s intermediary bank account. A double-entry accounting system automatically records balances and distributes funds per agreed ratios: credited to the temple wallet after deducting a platform commission fee for server infrastructure, livestream bandwidth, and operations staff.

Anonymous transactions (website only)

You are not required to sign in to make offerings or submit petitions. Transactions from anonymous users using a device identifier combined with a dynamic QR code are fully valid and accurately recorded to your chosen temple’s wallet.

Exceptions eligible for refund: Technical errors from the payment gateway causing duplicate charges for a single request. Or your wish petition is rejected by the temple.

4. Data Security & Behavior Tracking

To keep the app smooth, responsive, and battery-efficient, GoSamadhi applies session-based asynchronous sync:

Your clicks, livestream views, and petition form opens are batched into data stored temporarily in your device’s local memory.

This data is silently synced to the server in batches when: you start a new app session, the queue exceeds 50 actions, or you close the browser tab.

GoSamadhi does not collect sensitive data or your personal bank account information. Device identifiers remain fully anonymous until you voluntarily sign in.

5. System Liability Limits

Nature of Service

GoSamadhi is a technology intermediary platform providing connection solutions. GoSamadhi is not a religious organization and is not responsible for personal spiritual or faith-related aspects.

Temple Content Responsibility

All information about offline retreat schedules, physical petition images, or Dharma content in livestreams is fully the responsibility of the Temple Owner account under a separate electronic agreement with GoSamadhi. You agree to hold GoSamadhi harmless for errors arising from the temple’s internal operations.
